We brought CodeJunction in before migrating off a legacy courier API. Their report flagged that our label void endpoint fired on a timer instead of on scan events—exactly the edge case that burned us in 2019. Implementation still took us six weeks; the review did not magically shorten that, but we stopped debating whether the bug was on our side.

The partner API workshop was dense. We needed a second internal session to absorb the error-code proposal. Still, our first external integrator went live without a week of back-and-forth on auth headers.

— Sarah L., product owner, B2B invoicing startup (Stellenbosch)

Due diligence on three KYC vendors saved us from signing with a provider whose sandbox never returned the same document status codes as their PDF stated. The matrix was blunt; procurement appreciated that.

Case note: webhook backlog after Black Friday

A Durban-based marketplace saw payment webhooks arrive up to forty minutes late during peak. CodeJunction traced the issue to unbounded worker concurrency combined with a vendor rate limit shared across staging and production keys. Recommendations included keyed rate limiters and a dead-letter queue with replay tooling. The client implemented over two sprints; post-peak latency returned to under ninety seconds. They noted our diagrams were clearer than the vendor’s own sequence charts, though they wished we had included sample Grafana queries in the first deliverable—we added those in the clarification window.
